Photovoltaic (PV) systems power billions of devices and thousands of buildings around the world. More than 1,000 FPL customers have installed solar systems on their premises with our active and ongoing support.
As part of a five-year pilot program authorized by the Florida Public Service Commission, FPL residential customers who install a new PV system will be eligible for a rebate of $2 for every watt of DC output, up to $20,000. The rebate is available to all existing customers.
All of the 2014 funds for this program have now been reserved. FPL is maintaining a standby list for customers who did not initially receive a reservation. The list will be maintained in numerical order on a first-come, first-served basis.
