Peer-to-peer professional development in STEM

EmPOWERing STEM Educators Program

With our Power to Educate, we are supporting STEM-focused peer-to-peer professional development for teachers in partnership with the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations. The EmPOWERing STEM Educators Program awards funding to more than 10 local education foundations each year to help shape a brighter future for all of Florida.

The next round of applications will open in 2025.

With a $10,000 grant, the Education Foundation of Putnam County was able to establish a more robust training program for K-12 teachers to inspire students’ curiosity in pursuing a career in STEM.
