Nicholas Brown has worked at Florida Power & Light Company since 2021 as a Solar Development Project Manager. He has spent the majority of his career in the clean energy space, working on design engineering, construction, project management and development. He has been an integral part in the installation of environmental control projects, water treatment projects, wind energy plants and for utility-scale solar across the country.
Nicholas received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and continued his studies at the University of Michigan where he received a Master of Business Administration. Nick was born in Detroit and now resides in Wellington, Florida. When not working, he spends his time traveling with his family, lifting weights, learning new languages and playing chess.
Devaney Iglesias is the external affairs area manager for Sarasota, Manatee, DeSoto, Hardee and Highlands counties for Florida Power & Light Company (FPL). She has been with FPL for five years. She is responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with elected officials, community members and business leaders through development projects, program coordination and storm/emergency operations.
She is an active member of her community, serving on the boards of the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast, United Way Suncoast and the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corporation. She also serves on the legislative committee for the Manatee Chamber of Commerce.
Manatee County is a special place for Devaney and her family. What started as a summer spot for over 10 years has now become permanent home. She lives in Manatee County with her husband, two children and their Australian Shepard, Kylo. To her, the West Coast of Florida is the best coast!
