Meet Daniel Brankin
Dan Brankin is the Solar Development Project Manager for Norton Creek Solar Energy Center. He joined the Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) solar development team in May 2022 after completing eight years of service in the Army as an Infantry Officer, including multiple overseas deployments.
Dan originally hails from Illinois where he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys coaching his children's youth athletic teams, fishing, and camping.
Meet Michele Murrell
Michele Murrell is the Brevard and Indian River counties external affairs manager for Florida Power & Light Company (FPL). She has worked for the company since 2022.
Michele is responsible for coordinating restoration efforts during hurricanes and emergencies in those counties and is dedicated to growing and maintaining positive, long-lasting relationships with municipal, community and business leaders.
She serves as a director on several local boards, including The Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast, Brevard’s Business Voice (PAC), Junior Achievement, the YMCA, Melbourne Regional Chamber of Commerce, Sebastian Chamber of Commerce, and LEAD Brevard.
