Dan Brankin is the Solar Development Project Manager for Norton Creek Solar Energy Center. He joined the Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) solar development team in May 2022 after completing eight years of service in the Army as an Infantry Officer, including multiple overseas deployments.
Dan originally hails from Illinois where he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys coaching his children's youth athletic teams, fishing, and camping.
Carol Saviak is an External Affairs Manager for Florida Power & Light Company serving the North Florida region, including Baker County. Carol is responsible for external and government relations, and also coordinates external outreach for major construction projects, including solar centers and reliability projects. She has more than twenty-five years of experience working as a professional advocate in the public policy arena, representing public, private and nonprofit sector organizations. She is a Florida native and a graduate of the University of Florida.
Carol values community service and volunteers on the boards of business and community organizations within the region. She currently serves as chair of the First Coast Technical College Education Foundation, as a member of the Nassau County Economic Development Board and as a member of Rotary International. She also serves as an appointed member of Florida’s Federal Judicial Nominating Committee for the Middle District of Florida.
