Robotics Sponsorships

Students can discover a world of endless possibilities with our robotics programs. Designed to ignite curiosity and foster a passion for STEM careers, we support teams at all levels of the FIRST (For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology) family of programs across Florida, in addition to drone and aquatic robot programs. As advocates for the next generation of STEM leaders, we have increased our financial support for 2024 robotics sponsorships – partnering with STEM2 Hub to manage and administer the program for us across the three robot areas (land, air, aquatic).

Drones

Experience the thrill of drone racing right in your classroom or after-school program through our ongoing commitment to the "Drones in School" initiative.

With Drones in School, students have the chance to enhance their technical skills using small-scale drone technology in a safe and scalable environment. This unique program is completely free and open to all schools – including public, private, charter and home-school options, for the first one to two years of involvement. After teams have been established, they will be eligible to apply for supporting funds at the same general levels as FPL’s robotics sponsorship program described above. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity for grades 6-12 – available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Underwater ROVs

Underwater ROVs are exciting for students and teachers alike because they offer the ability to explore the water depths like never before. Remotely operated vehicles allow us to experience the mysterious underwater world in a new way – see incredible marine life, discover hidden treasures and even explore ancient shipwrecks. It's an adventure that combines technology and exploration, providing a unique and thrilling experience. Dive in and be part of the excitement with underwater ROVs!
