Program details
Eligibility
Your facility must average a demand of 200 kWD for at least three out of seven summer months (April - October) during the peak hours (3 p.m. to 6 p.m.). You need to own and maintain the appropriate switchgear to transfer the load. You can own a generator to support your facility, but it is not required.
Activation
We install a load management device at your facility to automatically reduce the load to a predetermined level during control events. If applicable, your generator can support your facility as needed. You will be notified after the event ends.
Expectation
An annual one-hour test is required by the first Wednesday in November. We provide a control circuit wiring diagram to help you connect your switchgear to the program load management equipment.

*A monthly bill credit is applied equaling $8.76 per kW based on the average kW used during the controllable period each billing cycle - minus firm demand. Firm demand is your building’s load that you do not enroll and is not subject to being controlled.
