As a participant in FPL Budget Billing^®, your benefits include:

Customers who stay on the program for at least a year realize the full benefits. If you want to discontinue because your current bill is lower than your Budget Bill amount, its important to remember that’s how the program works to help you avoid seasonal bill spikes.  During the months where your bill is typically lower, you build up a reserve that is then used when your bills increase at other times of the year.

While this is not a savings program, you are reducing bill fluctuations and getting predictable payments so you can easily manage your monthly expenses.

Remember, at the end of 12 months, you pay exactly for the energy you used – not a penny more or a penny less.

If you discontinue the program now:

• You will be responsible for a deferred balance on your next bill.
• You will not be eligible to join again for 12 months.
